By 1962 he had developed the first switch watch to make it into space; it was worn by an astronaut into space. It was used as a backup timer for the shuttle.
By 1969 the first automatic chronograph was created, the Autavia, Carrera and the Monaco. By 1975 Huere had created a chronosplit digital chronograph with Led and LCD display.
